DPC RealTime Service
The first of DPC's Internet-based service options was DPC RealTime Service. This product continuously monitors instrument functionality and can minimize interruptions in instrument operations due to service or repairs by alerting DPC Technical Services of situations requiring attention. Additionally, RealTime Service simplifies the service process by allowing DPC's service personnel faster, easier and more complete access to the operational history of each system without the currently required operator assistance.

RealTime Service features
Intelligent, real-time monitoring and diagnostic capabilities that allow for proactive scheduling of repairs before downtime occurs
Firewall-safe Internet transmission of instrument data that complies with patient confidentiality regulations
Ability to track information from several systems at one location via a single stand-alone computer where the RealTime Service software application resides
Minimal effort for laboratory setup
Extensive flexibility to allow specific configurations at each site

The following applications will soon be available with RealTime Solutions as components of OnLine Reports.

Levey-Jennings Report
The Levey-Jennings report is a graph displaying the laboratory's historical QC results in chronological order. The graph shows how these QC results compare to their target mean and standard deviation for that assay. It also calculates a statistical summary of the laboratory's data, including actual mean and standard deviation. This report can help identify QC trends across instruments and kit lots.

Peer Group Report
The Peer Group Report shows how the local QC results for a particular assay compare to those of other IMMULITE 2000 users. At a glance, operators will know whether their QC results are within the range seen by other laboratories throughout the world. Unlike peer group reports from other vendors, DPC's peer group reports allow laboratories to focus in on peer groups who are running the same lot numbers as they are.

Adjustment Report
The Adjustment Report shows the historical slopes and intercepts for adjustments the laboratory has run for a given assay. This feature allows operators to observe trends in adjustment data over time in an intuitive graphical format. In addition, the following reports will be available:

Online Target Ranges

All of the new operator-facing software applications of DPC RealTime Solutions can be viewed from any Internet-enabled computer, allowing users the freedom to see reports from anywhere, anytime. These enhancements demonstrate DPC's leadership in delivering innovative service and support. DPC continually strives to provide laboratories with the highest level of support and access to information available in the clinical diagnostics market.
