DPC Konelab Systems Debut
at Baltic Congress in Estonia

The first presentation of the DPC Konelab clinical chemistry systems took place during the 7th Baltic Congress in Laboratory Medicine in Pärnu, Estonia, September 9-11, 2004. DPC, represented locally by DPC Estonia, a member of the DPC Scandinavia group, was one of the major sponsors of the Congress.

More than 470 participants from 13 countries attended the congress. The scientific program covered the laboratory diagnosis of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, bone metabolism, infectious diseases, pediatric diseases and more. In addition to the lectures of the main program, parallel sessions and numerous posters were presented.

At the DPC booth in the exhibition area, the latest news on the IMMULITE^® family of systems, including the IMMULITE 2500 SMS and diagnostic tests, was presented and the DPC Konelab 30 clinical chemistry analyzer was introduced. The booth was the site of many analyzer demonstrations and discussions that reflected a good deal of laboratory interest towards DPC's new offering of clinical chemistry analyzers and immunodiagnostic tests.
